USI senior Lauren Carie brings low-usage, high-effort frontcourt depth
In the 2024-25 season, Lauren Carie was a reserve center for Southern Indiana who appeared in 16 games, averaged 5.6 minutes, and finished with 11 points and 16 rebounds, showing up as a reliable, physical depth piece rather than a featured scorer.[5][4] Her value is in modest but steady rebounding, interior size at 6-foot-2, and the kind of mature, team-first presence that coaches like in a role player; she also earned the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll, which hints at discipline and consistency off the floor.[3][5]
