veteran 6-foot-9 stretch forward with a proven two-way role
Aaron Wheeler is a 6-foot-9 graduate forward who gives St. John’s length, rebounding, and floor-spacing from the frontcourt, and his best college stretch came in the 2021-22 season when he averaged 10.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and shot 38.5% from three. He’s attractive for teams that want an older, versatile forward who can defend multiple spots, survive physical play, and make open threes without demanding touches. The catch: he’s more reliable as a complementary piece than a focal point, but that’s often exactly the kind of grown-man glue guy contenders need.
