Nyjah Fontenot is McNeese’s line-drive spark plug in the outfield
In the 2026 season, Fontenot has been one of McNeese’s most dangerous bats, earning NFCA Gulf All-Region second-team honors while hitting .356 with 48 hits, nine doubles, eight home runs, 19 walks, and 12 stolen bases. She backs that up with a proven 2025 breakout (.389 average, 72 hits, 16 doubles, four triples, 40 RBI, 17 steals) and has shown she can change a game with power, pressure speed, and clutch contact. If your team wants a seasoned, high-motor outfielder who brings both juice and table-setting impact, she’s a fit.
