Landon Sloan brings plus arm talent and two-way pedigree to Grand Canyon's bullpen
Landon Sloan is a freshman RHP for Grand Canyon who already stands out for his size, arm strength, and winning track record, with a 6-2, 205-pound frame and a decorated high-school career that included multiple all-state honors and a 0.91 ERA across four varsity seasons.[1] He made two relief appearances in 2026 and logged his first collegiate strikeout against Rice, so the sample is still tiny, but the appeal is the upside: a hard-throwing righty with experience on the mound and as a catcher, which often translates to better game feel and toughness.[1]
