Brown DB Noble Cooper III brings size, ball production, and a late-blooming playmaker’s edge
In the 2024 season, Noble Cooper III emerged as a useful Brown defensive back, appearing in nine games with four starts, 29 total tackles, five pass breakups, 1.5 tackles for loss, and an interception return that helped flip field position at Rhode Island. At 6-foot-0 and 195 pounds, he offers a sturdy frame, physicality, and a nice story arc: he was a former receiver who only started playing DB in college, yet still showed real coverage instincts and playmaking juice. He was also named to Brown’s 2025 Hampshire Honor Society, which adds a strong academic/character signal.
