J.T. Crabbe brings left-handed pop and veteran catch-and-throw value to Saint Louis
Crabbe is a transfer catcher who entered Saint Louis with a strong 2024 at Orange Coast College, where he hit .331 with 9 home runs and 30 RBIs in 39 games, and SLU coach feedback called him a solid catch-throw defender with a plus bat and immediate lineup impact. In the 2025 season, he started the first four games before an injury ended his year early, and in the 2026 season he was back in the mix for the Billikens, continuing to provide experienced depth, power upside, and toughness behind the plate. He matters because he offers a real two-way catching profile, not just a warm body in shin guards.
