Freshman lineman Demond Donahue adds size and upside to Lamar’s offensive front
Donahue enters the 2026 season as a 6-foot-2, 303-pound freshman offensive lineman from McKinney, Texas, giving Lamar a young, sturdy body with real development upside on the interior line. He’s part of a 2025–26 offensive-line influx the Cardinals highlighted as one of their strongest newcomer groups, which suggests the staff sees legitimate long-term value in his frame and fit. The big question is projection: there’s no public game-log production yet, but his size, youth, and roster spot make him an intriguing fit for a program that wants to build nastier depth up front.
