crafty Texas State lefty with strikeout bite, but command still decides the story
Braylen Timmins is a 6'1" left-handed pitcher for Texas State whose value comes from being a playable, matchup-friendly arm rather than a flashy headline machine. In the 2025 season, he logged 17.2 innings with a 9.68 ERA and 22 strikeouts, and Texas State listed him again on the 2026 roster, including work out of the bullpen early that spring. He has the kind of arm slot and left-on-left intrigue coaches like, but his current fit hinges on sharpening command and limiting damage when hitters square him up. If your team wants a southpaw with strikeout upside and room to grow, he’s interesting; if you need instant precision, he’s still a project.
