Southern Utah's Rebounding Forward from the 2012-13 Era
Jaren Jeffery, a gritty 6'10" forward for the Southern Utah Thunderbirds, stood out in the 2012-13 season with double-digit scoring outbursts like his career-high 10 points against San Diego Christian and a clutch 3-pointer that sparked a game-winning run versus Weber State; his elite rebounding—led by 11 boards (6 defensive, 5 offensive) in a 68-58 win over Carroll (MT) on Nov 21, 2012—highlights his hustle and positioning inside. Averaging 3.5 PPG and 2.6 RPG per ESPN career stats, Jeffery's tenacious blue-collar style makes him a perfect fit for teams needing tough, undersized bigs who battle on the glass without needing the spotlight.
