George Eisenhardt gives UIC a power-built, strikeout-capable senior arm
George Eisenhardt enters the 2026 season as a 6'4", 205-pound senior right-hander who gives UIC a long, physical profile on the mound and a track record of missing bats when he’s right. In 2025, he made 12 appearances, worked 18.2 innings, and struck out 13 hitters for the Flames; his best single-game strikeout total was three at Northwestern on April 22, 2025. The fit is intriguing if you want a durable, experienced arm with starter/relief flexibility, though the results have been uneven, so he looks more like a useful depth-and-upside piece than a sure-fire rotation lock.
