Efficient frontcourt glue guy with proven finishing touch
Corvon Butler’s best calling card is efficient, physical frontcourt play: in the 2015-16 season, he averaged 9.6 points while shooting 55% from the field, and Alabama State also leaned on him for rebounding and interior scoring. He flashed as an impact piece in the Hornets’ upset of Virginia Tech, and reports from the program noted that when he was limited by injury, the team missed his scoring and boards. If you want a forward who brings toughness, efficiency, and reliable paint production rather than flash, Butler fits the bill.
