Josh Lim brings pop, speed, and pesky-bad-for-opponents hustle to Louisiana
In the 2026 season, freshman infielder Josh Lim has been a useful spark for Louisiana, hitting around .310 to .317 with an OPS in the .825 range, plus extra-base punch and baserunning value that shows up in big moments.[6][13] He flashed real thump with a three-run homer against Southeastern Louisiana in March 2026, and multiple reports describe him as a gritty, high-baseball-IQ player who overachieves thanks to hustle, acumen, and relentless competitiveness.[3][7][12] At 5-foot-7, he’s not the loudest physical specimen, but he plays bigger than the frame suggests—very much a fit if you want a scrappy, high-energy infielder who can annoy pitchers and create runs.[1][2][7]
