Luke Puffinbarger is a big-bodied, developing righty with starter upside for Oral Roberts
In the 2026 season, Luke Puffinbarger has been a work-in-progress arm for Oral Roberts, carrying a 24.92 ERA in 4.1 innings, but his profile still pops because of the frame: 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, with the kind of build that can add velocity and durability over time.[1][3][4] He’s already shown the willingness to take the ball in higher-leverage spots and has logged multiple starts/extended outings, but the numbers say command and consistency are still the separator. If your team wants a power right-hander to mold rather than a polished plug-and-play ace, he’s an intriguing fit with upside baked in.[2][5][8]
