Brandon Reiter brings left-handed strikeout punch to Pitt
Brandon Reiter, a 2026 freshman LHP from Melbourne, FL, arrives at Pitt as a polished lefty with real bat-missing upside: he was ranked the No. 10 left-handed pitcher in Florida and No. 85 nationally at the prep level, then opened his college career by throwing scoreless innings with strikeout stuff before a tougher outing in late May. In the 2026 season, Pitt said he allowed just one hit while striking out eight in five appearances, and his high-school resume also hints at two-way athleticism, discipline, and competitive edge.
