Logan Saloman brings starter-to-reliever versatility and strikeout juice to Nevada’s staff
Saloman is a 6-foot-4, right-handed pitcher with a track record of missing bats and handling both starting and relief roles, which gives Nevada flexibility and a higher-upside arm profile than a typical depth piece. At Hamilton High School in 2022-23, he posted a 1.70 ERA with 52 strikeouts in 61.2 innings, and later at the college level he logged scoreless relief outings and a nine-strikeout game in 2025, showing he can attack hitters in bursts. He looks like a fit for a staff that values length, strike throwing, and competitive mound presence.
