Sacred Heart freshman RHP George Katsaros brings strikeout stuff and starter potential
In the 2026 season, George Katsaros has already shown real bat-missing ability for Sacred Heart, striking out 10 batters in 15.1 innings while making five appearances and two starts, including a five-strikeout outing over 4.0 innings at Quinnipiac. His profile is built around a fastball-slider-changeup mix, with recruiting data showing an upper-80s fastball and a history of heavy innings and strong strikeout totals in high school. The concern is command and run prevention, since his 2026 ERA was 9.39, but the upside is a young, right-handed arm with starter traits and swing-and-miss tools.
