App State’s Gabriella Aughton brings strikeout upside and veteran depth in the circle
In the 2025 season at Boston College, Gabriella Aughton made 10 appearances, struck out at least one batter in five outings, and delivered a career-best four strikeouts over four innings against Providence, showing a usable change-of-pace profile for App State in 2026. She arrived with three seasons of ACC experience, 28 career innings and 13 strikeouts before the move, which gives the Mountaineers a pitcher who already knows how to work in pressure spots and can give them depth, poise, and a little sneaky upside.
