Logan Freche is a big-bodied righty with real swing-and-miss upside for SLU
In the 2026 season, Logan Freche has shown a power profile for Southeastern Louisiana, posting a 2.70 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 23.1 innings, and he’s a 6-foot-4, 210-pound right-hander with a top-500 national reputation and the No. 7-rated RHP in Louisiana coming out of high school[1][4]. He’s the kind of arm teams like to bet on: durable frame, starter/reliever flexibility, and a history of handling big workloads, though his 2026 results also show some volatility as he has taken a few losses in relief[1][13][15]. For a team, he reads like a development-friendly power pitcher with upside if the command sharpens[1][6].
