James Lewis brings transfer-back toughness to Cincinnati’s backfield
James Lewis enters the 2026 season as a 6-foot, 200-pound junior RB for Cincinnati, with a reputation for workmanlike production and versatility after rushing for 342 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2025 at Manchester while also catching 28 passes for 175 yards and a score[14]. He’s a downhill, multi-use back with added defensive background and track-speed traits from high school, which makes him a useful fit for a team that wants a physical runner who can survive contact and stay on the field in multiple roles[2][14].
