Peyton Lacy brings swing-and-miss stuff and two-way impact to Nicholls
Peyton Lacy stands out as a **power right-hander** who has shown legitimate strikeout ability, highlighted by a 2024 Southern Miss season line of **95 strikeouts**, a **1.09 ERA**, and a **complete-game shutout with 12 strikeouts** against St. Stanislaus, while also providing offensive value with a **.705 slugging percentage** and **1.165 OPS**.[3] He projects as a high-upside arm because he has already handled big-game situations and produced like a frontline starter, making him a strong fit for teams that value competitive, attack-the-zone pitching and proven run prevention.[1][3]
