Murchael Turner brings gap-to-gap pop, playoff-ready grit, and a strong multi-sport edge to Long Beach State
In the 2026 season, Murchael Turner has been a steady left/right-handed bat for Long Beach State, hitting .238 with a .290 OBP and .302 SLG through 23 games, with 15 hits and 5 RBI. He stands out less as a pure power threat and more as a competitive contact hitter with athletic pedigree—his bio notes a .512/.614/.791 senior-line in high school and a state wrestling title, which hints at toughness and balance under pressure. If a team wants a grinder who can handle the moment and compete every pitch, Turner fits the bill.
