Josh Ramos gives Northwestern a sturdy, high-upside catching option
In the 2026 season, Northwestern catcher Josh Ramos is a junior with a 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame who has flashed clutch value and upside, including a game-winning RBI single in 2025 and early 2026 action that earned him more run behind the plate. He’s been described as a player who can help if he stays healthy, simplifies his mechanics, and turns his strength into more consistent contact and occasional power. If your team wants a tough, developing catcher with some pop and a competitive edge, he’s worth a long look.
