Gaige Albright brings power-lefty upside and real strikeout juice to Oklahoma State
In the 2025 high school season, Gaige Albright showed the kind of left-handed arm Oklahoma State can dream on: a 7-3 record, a 2.98 ERA, and 58 strikeouts in 50 1/3 innings as a senior, plus a 1.08 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 46 innings as a junior[1][2]. The pitchability note here is simple and fun: he’s a big, strong lefty with high-end strikeout potential and strong makeup, which helps explain why evaluators viewed him as a high-upside arm rather than just a box-score guy[6].
