Boise State’s freshman DL Deuce Alailefaleula brings rare physicality and blue-chip production
Alailefaleula is a high-upside Boise State freshman defensive lineman whose calling card is violence at the point of attack: in his senior season at Bartlett (Alaska), he posted 117 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, and five blocked field goals, and he earned 2025 Alaska Player of the Year honors. He was a three-star recruit and one of Alaska’s top prospects, with the bonus trait of having played fullback too, which hints at his toughness and contact comfort. At 6-foot-0 and about 295 pounds, he looks like a plug-and-play interior disruptor with nasty competitive juice.
