Tori Candler gives IU Indy a gritty, power-leaning utility bat with breakout upside
In the 2026 season, Tori Candler has been a reliable middle-of-the-order presence for IU Indianapolis, hitting .240 with 18 hits, 2 home runs, and 13 RBI while making 24 starts in 35 appearances. She stands out for clutch pop and versatility, including a three-run homer in the 2026 finale against Youngstown State and a 2025 stretch that earned her 92c Athlete of the Week recognition. After a season-ending injury in 2025, her return adds value because she brings toughness, experience, and an aggressive competitive edge that fits teams wanting a versatile, battle-tested utility player.
