Drew Price is a developmental Montana QB with intriguing upside and a family football pedigree
Drew Price is a redshirt freshman quarterback for Montana in the 2026 season, listed at 5-foot-10 and 179 pounds, and he arrived as a walk-on in 2025 after a strong high-school run at Ponte Vedra, where he threw for 1,913 yards, 19 passing touchdowns, and added 516 rushing yards with 23 total touchdowns. He fits the “smart, scrappy, no-drama” QB mold: undersized by prototype standards, but athletic enough to create plays and connected to football through his father, UM offensive analyst Eric Price. He looks like a depth-and-development prospect rather than an immediate finished product.
