Emmalynn Skaff gives Siena a steady, right-handed catcher with sneaky value
In the 2026 season, Emmalynn Skaff has been a compact, useful piece for Siena: she appeared in 16 games with three starts, hit .160, and also contributed behind the plate with 27 putouts and two assists. The interesting part is the profile, not just the line—she’s a right-handed catcher with game-action experience, plus enough versatility to earn pinch-hit and bench trust. Siena also listed her on the 2026 MAAC All-Academic Team, which hints at discipline and reliability. Not a stat-stuffer yet, but the kind of gritty, team-first depth chart fit coaches keep around.
