Nigel Pierman is giving RIT a tough, versatile frontcourt spark
In the 2025-26 season, freshman forward Nigel Pierman has already shown he can score in different ways and impact winning plays: he led RIT with 12 points and 5 rebounds in the opener against Nazareth, then posted a career-best 18 points and 7 rebounds at St. Lawrence, while also logging stretches of key hustle and defensive activity. RIT’s staff says he brings toughness, good footwork, shooting ability, rebounding, and high basketball IQ, plus a chip-on-the-shoulder motor that makes him a fit for teams needing versatility and edge.
