Alabama State’s Physical Forward with SWAC Impact
Luther Page, a forward for the Alabama State Hornets, emerged as a key physical presence during the 2025-26 season, helping the team finish 10-21 and 9th in the SWAC [1]. While specific individual stats aren’t publicly detailed in major databases, Page is recognized for his strength, defensive intensity, and ability to contest shots in the paint—traits that make him a reliable fit for teams needing interior toughness. His high-energy playing style and resilience through a challenging season suggest strong coachability and grit. Though the team struggled overall, Page’s differentiators include his physicality, rebounding tenacity, and consistent effort level, making him an appealing prospect for programs prioritizing defensive forwards with room to develop offensively.
