Tre'Shon Smoots brings steady guard play and veteran poise to Northern Colorado
Smoots is a seasoned Northern Colorado guard whose value has long come from ball security, playmaking, and calm decision-making; in the 2021-22 season, he appeared in 10 games, averaged 9.1 minutes and 2.2 points, and earlier in his Bears career he posted 6.5 points per game with 42 assists and a team-best 1.91 assist-to-turnover ratio. He’s the kind of connector who can run an offense without forcing it, and that reliability — plus the ability to spark a bench unit when needed — makes him a fit for teams that prize composure, passing, and low-drama basketball.
