Avery Vale-Cruz is Rhode Island’s do-it-all arm with frontline upside
In the 2026 season, Avery Vale-Cruz was a workhorse for Rhode Island, leading the Rams in wins (8) and innings pitched (97.1) while posting a 4.17 ERA and 74 strikeouts. She also flashed ace-level ceiling in spotlights like a near no-hitter against New Haven and a 12-strikeout week that earned Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week honors in 2025. The fit is clear: she brings toughness, volume, and competitive fire, and Rhode Island clearly trusts her to handle the biggest innings.
