Kendy Charles brought veteran punch to Duke’s interior and earned ACC recognition
In the 2024 season, Kendy Charles was a disruptive, high-motor defensive tackle for Duke, posting 49 tackles, 7 tackles for loss and 2 sacks while helping anchor a front that ranked among the nation’s best in havoc categories.[2][13] He was named Second Team All-ACC and repeatedly praised for his reliability, production and leadership after transferring in from Liberty, where he already had a proven track record of 158 career tackles and 15.5 sacks across 50 games.[2][13] If you want a DT who brings experience, toughness and steady interior pressure, Charles was a strong fit.
