the high-efficiency UNI guard who flashed instant shot-making
Aarias Austin was a 6-foot-4 guard for Northern Iowa in the 2015-16 season, appearing in 9 games and averaging 5.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 13.4 minutes while shooting 39.5% from the field and 38.5% from three[2][10]. The quick read on his fit: he brought perimeter scoring, size for a guard, and enough shooting touch to stretch defenses, while his limited run and eventual departure from UNI mean the bigger story is more “productive role player” than centerpiece[1][2][3].
