Gillman entered 2025 as a redshirt sophomore WR at Montana, and the program says he will compete for receiver reps and special-teams work after earning Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year in 2024.[7][18] His appeal is speed and burst more than size: Montana lists him at 5-8, 162, and his high school profile credited him with a 4.3-second 40 and strong after-contact running, which fits a versatile, low-center-of-gravity playmaker.[7][11] He’s a good fit for teams valuing quickness, toughness, and developmental upside over a finished stat-sheet star.[7][9]
