Avery Diggs brings efficient inside production and veteran size to Chattanooga
Avery Diggs is a 6-foot-10 center whose best calling card is efficient, physical interior play: in the 2021-22 season at Chattanooga, he appeared in all 35 games, averaged 4.6 points and 2.3 rebounds in 9.8 minutes, and shot a team-best 64.4% from the field[1]. He later continued his pro career overseas, including an 8.8 ppg, 2.9 rpg season with Zarate in 2024-25, which suggests he can still score around the rim and hold his own as a presence inside[7]. If you want a big who plays with experience, touch, and low-drama reliability, Diggs fits; if you need a stretch-five or rim-protecting monster, that’s not really his calling card[1][7].
