Ivane Tensaie is UTEP’s late-clock shot-maker and deep-ball engine
In the 2025-26 season, Ivane Tensaie has been a steady offensive driver for UTEP, ranking second on the team with 10.8 points per game and earning Preseason All-CUSA honors plus CUSA Player of the Week recognition. She’s a high-volume, high-value perimeter threat—UTEP says she set the program record with eight threes in a game and finished her three-year Miner career third all-time with 197 made triples. The fit is obvious: she brings shot creation, clutch shot-making, and veteran guard poise, though her game is built more on spacing and scoring punch than elite size or rim pressure.
