Tennessee State’s rangy sophomore corner with a versatile background
Man Leroy Palmer is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound sophomore cornerback for Tennessee State in the 2026 season, and his size-plus-athletic profile is the first thing that jumps off the page. He arrived after playing at Maryville, where in the 2024 season he logged 13 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, and an interception, and his high school background shows two-way playmaking juice with 86 catches, four receiving touchdowns, four passing TDs, and four interceptions in 2023. That kind of versatility suggests a confident, competitive defender who can challenge routes and contribute in multiple phases—an intriguing fit if you want a DB with length, ball skills, and upside.
