Makayla Medellin brings veteran Big West bat and reliable outfield value to CBU
Makayla Medellin enters her CBU role with proven Big West production, including First-Team All-Big West honors in 2024 and Second-Team recognition in 2025, which signals she has already translated contact skill and competitive consistency against high-level conference pitching. Her profile stands out for steady on-base value, bat-to-ball ability, and situational impact—she was a multiple-time Big West Freshman of the Week at Long Beach State and has continued to contribute as an outfield piece at California Baptist. For a team needing a polished, experienced hitter with conference-tested reliability, she looks like a strong fit.
