Matlyn Leetch brings elite speed, contact skills, and proven run production to Nevada
Leetch is a high-upside utility player whose game is built on speed, pressure, and versatility: at Mt. Hood she set the school stolen-base record, won the 2022 NFCA Golden Shoe Award, and posted a .543 average with 101 hits and 44 steals in the championship season; at Nevada, she has also shown she can contribute in key moments, including a 2-for-2, two-RBI outing vs. San Diego State in 2026. She fits best for a team that values disruptive baserunning, contact hitting, and a gritty, switch-hitting competitor who can move around the field and change an inning fast.
