Jacob Vokal brings two-way versatility and live-arm upside to Davidson
Vokal is a useful **RHP/INF** with legit two-way value: Davidson lists him as a freshman in 2025 who worked 19 appearances and four starts, and he earned **Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week** honors after giving up one run in his first start vs. No. 4 Clemson[2][9]. His upside comes from a fastball that has touched **89 mph** and a history as a productive high-school bat, which makes him more interesting than a typical arm-only prospect[1][4]. The fit question is about refinement, not talent—his frame and production suggest potential, but his early college ERA shows he still needs polish[3][9].
