Elijah Perryman brings two-way energy and a coachable freshman spark to Utah State
Perryman is a 6'2" freshman guard who already earned Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors in the 2025-26 season after helping Utah State to a pair of wins, which hints at a player who can impact games beyond the box score. Utah State lists him as a steady part of the rotation, appearing in all 36 games with one start and 13.9 minutes per game, and his high-school résumé points to a well-rounded, disruptive guard who produced points, assists, rebounds and steals at Clayton Valley Charter. If you want a combo guard with energy, defensive activity and upside, he looks like a strong fit.
