Kylee McLain brings speed, contact bat and opportunistic pop for Monmouth
McLain has shown she can spark an offense with timely contact and extra-base upside, earning 2025 CAA Rookie of the Week honors after a .333 stretch and multiple extra-base hits, then backing it up with a 2026 season line of 21 hits and 12 RBI in 40 starts. She profiles as a scrappy, high-energy outfielder who competes in big moments, with a recent multi-hit game against Delaware and even a homer in 2026 hinting at more power than her 5'0" frame suggests. She looks like a useful fit for a team that values speed, pressure, and steady at-bats over pure size or loud tools.
