Sekou Touré brings a defensive edge and efficient guard play to UC Santa Barbara
Touré is a high-energy guard who has already shown he can contribute as a steady, efficient role player for UC Santa Barbara, appearing in all 26 games in 2021-22 while shooting 49.1% from the field and averaging 2.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 11 minutes per game. His value goes beyond the box score: reports highlight a crafty handle, strong ability to get into the paint, and pesky defense that can create open-floor chances for teammates. He looks like a fit for teams needing toughness, ball movement, and disruptive perimeter pressure, rather than a pure volume scorer.[1][3][7]
