Donovan Grayson is Samford’s breakout edge threat after a first-team All-SoCon season
In the 2025 season, Donovan Grayson emerged as one of Samford’s most disruptive defenders, leading the Bulldogs with 7.0 sacks and 10.0 tackles for loss while adding 43 tackles and earning first-team All-SoCon honors. At 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, he brings a sturdy, active frame, real backfield pop, and the kind of effort motor coaches love on the edge. He’s a fit for teams that want a productive DE who can win with hustle, leverage, and consistent pressure, not just highlight-reel flash.
