Brenner Green brings a bat-first pedigree to Richmond’s mound mix
In the 2026 season, freshman RHP Brenner Green enters Richmond as a 6-foot-2, 185-pound righty with a standout two-way résumé from The Haverford School, where he hit .370 with five home runs and earned Second Team All-Inter-Ac honors in 2024. The big takeaway: Richmond is betting on his athleticism, competitive makeup, and upside as a full-time pitcher after he served as a senior captain in baseball and also played varsity squash. He looks like a high-effort, high-upside development arm rather than a finished product—exactly the kind of player who can fit a patient pitching program.
