Stretch-4 Badger who turned efficiency into impact
In the 2016-17 season, Vitto Brown became a high-value Wisconsin forward by pairing reliable perimeter shooting with improved all-around production, averaging 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists while starting all 37 games. His calling card is his stretch-big profile: he shot 39.8% from three that season after emerging as one of the Big Ten’s better-shooting frontcourt players, which made him a tough fit for opposing defenses. He also showed up in big moments, including the NCAA tournament upset of No. 1 Villanova. He’s a smart, versatile, low-drama connector who fits teams needing spacing, maturity and poise.
