Jayson Jenkins gives Robert Morris a two-way special teams weapon
In the 2025 season, Jayson Jenkins was a true special-teams differentiator for Robert Morris, making 10 of 12 field goals and all 20 PATs while also handling punting duties with a 39.92-yard average and 23 punts inside the 20, including a school-record 78-yard boot. He’s valuable because he brings both reliability and range, plus the flexibility to cover kicking and punting—rare roster gold for an FCS team. He earned second-team All-NEC honors, which backs up the eye test: dependable, versatile, and quietly explosive when RMU needs hidden-yardage magic.
