Jason Shuford is a space-eating veteran anchor for Marshall’s front
In the 2024 season, Jason Shuford appeared in all 13 games for Marshall and finished with 14 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, and two quarterback hurries, giving the Herd a sturdy, rotational interior presence at 6-foot-3 and 323 pounds. The big differentiator is leverage-and-immovable-object vibes: he’s built to clog lanes, absorb blocks, and let linebackers feast, not rack up flashy box-score chaos. He also brings experience from East Carolina, which should help a team trust him in a grown-man role on early downs.
