Jesse Powell II brings size, production, and a transfer buzz factor to the secondary
In the 2025 season, Jesse Powell II gave Elon a steady DB presence with 59 tackles and 4 pass breakups, showing the kind of length and physicality coaches love in a 6-foot-4 defensive back. He has shown real versatility and run support, and his transfer profile suggests other programs saw value in his upside too. If you want a long, active defensive back who can play with range and bring tackling toughness, he’s a name worth caring about.
