Landon Grigg brings proven strike-throwing depth and swing-and-miss upside to Lamar
In the 2025 season at ULM, Grigg led the pitching staff with 49 strikeouts and 57.1 innings in 11 starts, showing the kind of starter’s workload Lamar loves in a transfer arm[1]. He pairs that with a true four-pitch mix and low-90s velocity, which gives him real rotation value beyond the box score[6]. His track record includes consistency at Crowder College and preseason All-Southland recognition at Lamar, so he looks like a polished, competitive fit for a team needing reliable innings and a pitcher who can miss bats[1][4][10].
